American Wear has operated managed uniform and facility service programs since 1951. The First Aid & Safety division extends that same model, scheduled service, tracked inventory, and dependable follow-through, to workplace first aid, eyewash, and emergency response equipment.

Cabinet Contents and Compliance
We offer two cabinet sizes, both organized into labeled, color-coded modules for quick access during an emergency.
Large Cabinet meets ANSI/ISEA Z308.1-2021 Class B standards and includes seven injury-specific modules: Bloodborne Pathogens, Burns, Eye Wound, Minor Wound, two Serious Wound modules, Resuscitation, and Splint & Tourniquet. The liner includes burn gel, hand sanitizer packets, a first aid guide, tweezers, gauze pads, low-adherent dressings, detectable fingertip and knuckle bandages, detectable strips, strapping tape, nitrile finger cots, triple antibiotic ointment, eyewash, antiseptic wipes, and scissors. Metal-detectable bandages are available for food processing environments.
Small Cabinet meets Class A standards and covers the essentials in a more compact footprint, with Bloodborne Pathogens, Burns, Eye Wound, Minor Wound, and Serious Wound modules.
Both cabinets use AeroPlast™ bandages with SUPABOND™ adhesive, and medications can be added into either kit on request.
Eyewash Stations
The NeutraFlush™ gravity-fed eyewash station is available in portable or wall-mounted configurations, with identical performance specifications: 16-gallon capacity, one-second one-step activation, and up to 15 minutes of non-injurious flow, meeting ANSI Z358.1-2014. The portable unit is mounted on casters for facilities that need to reposition equipment across work zones. The wall-mounted unit remains fixed near a specific hazard point. Both measure 50.5″ x 21.25″ x 21.25″ and are finished in high-visibility green.
Automated External Defibrillator
The AED cabinet houses a HeartSine Samaritan® PAD 450, which provides voice guidance through both the defibrillation and CPR process. It includes a carrying case, a patient prep kit, and an optional WiFi connector for remote status monitoring. Sudden cardiac arrest affects more than 350,000 Americans annually, with a survival rate near 10% outside a hospital setting absent intervention. Prompt AED use raises that figure to approximately 75%.
Complete First Aid Station
For facilities seeking a single, centralized safety zone, we combine all three components, a large SureScan™ cabinet, a NeutraFlush™ eyewash station, and an encased Samaritan AED, into one wall-mounted station under unified signage. The bundle is straightforward to install and service, and is offered at a discount relative to purchasing each component separately.
How the SureScan™ Program Works
1. Evaluation. We assess your existing first aid setup, identify gaps, and recommend a service plan tailored to your facility.
2. Installation. Cabinets, eyewash stations, and AEDs are installed and organized for immediate, intuitive use.
3. Scheduled Service. A technician visits on a consistent monthly schedule to restock used supplies.
4. RFID Tracking. Every item is scanned during each service visit, so expired or missing products are identified and replaced automatically.
5. Documentation. Each service visit is recorded, providing a compliance record you can reference at any time.
Program Pricing
The program operates on a single fixed monthly rate, with all replacement products included. There are no separate invoices for restocking. This mirrors the structure customers already rely on through American Wear’s uniform program, applied here to first aid and safety.
